Safety Partners
Xcel Mechanical Systems understands that achieving and maintaining workplace safety requires much more than establishing a few commonplace practices. Rather, it's a way of doing business that requires vigilance, constant training, and dialogue between our managers and our employees.
With the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Congress created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)* to assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is the U.S. federal agency that conducts research and makes recommendations to prevent worker injury and illness. It has the mandate of helping to assure “every man and woman in the Nation safe and healthful working conditions and to preserve our human resources.”
Our Mission: to Advance the Construction Industry. To encourage the elimination or reduction of conditions constituting hazards to the safety or health of U.S. construction workers, and to promote the maintenance and improvement of safe and healthy working conditions for workers in the construction industry.
